Nashville may be best known as the home of country music, but it’s also a cultural hub that tempers big city excitement with laidback rural charm. The ‘Nashville skyline’ that served as the title of Bob Dylan’s groundbreaking 1969 album is a neon beacon welcoming visitors to a place where the homespun coexists peacefully with celebrity glitz, exemplary architecture, big business and vibrant nightlife.

Country music makes Nashville rich with songs about green grass growing and the world having a front porch as if it were slow, rural and unincorporated.  But Nashville is a vibrant city deeply rooted in its musical history, always changing and somehow the same.  If this is your first visit, or your thousandth, we are honored to have you here on our behalf.  Thank you, in advance, for making the time to travel.  -C&M

Nashville has an international airport supporting most national and discount carriers.  Be sure to check with Southwest and USAir.  Both have flexible reservations to select by ticket prices.

Everyone probably has a favorite web-discount site.  The best advice is to shop around, shop early or shop late.  If 10 or more people are flying on same schedule, book together for a group rate.
